Welcome

The California chapter of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators is the second-oldest chapter on the west coast. We are comprised of illustrators found throughout the state, with our largest concentration in the greater San Francisco Bay area.

We offer our members lectures, demonstrations, workshops and fieldtrips, as well as opportunities for group exhibitions.

Regular meetings are held throughout the bay area at various locations. Anyone interested in scientific illustration is welcome to attend our events, though we encourage artists to become members of our chapter as well as the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators National Organization.
